Welcome to the artistic world of Juliet Yearwood, a born-and-bred New Yorker with roots extending to Jamaica and Antigua. Growing up in the vibrant borough of the Bronx alongside her two sisters, Juliet is now a freelance artist based in Atlanta, GA, celebrated for her captivating realism style paintings in acrylic.

Juliet's artistic journey began in her childhood city, where she was mentored by her late uncle, Clint Grant, an architecture enthusiast. Under his guidance, she discovered the intricacies of sketching faces, a skill she dedicated herself to honing from the age of 12 through her twenties.

Driven by a deep-seated passion for her craft, Juliet explored various mediums, including watercolors, oils, and pastels. In high school, her art teacher recognized her potential, encouraging her to delve into the history of art and color, suggesting a promising career in the field. Despite initially venturing into other realms, Juliet's artistic calling beckoned her back in 2014, confirming her destiny chosen by the universe.

With a prolific portfolio comprising over 100 paintings, 100 sketches, a captivating mural adorning Likkle More Jerk restaurant in Brooklyn, NY, and a notable restoration project in Houston, Texas, Juliet Yearwood is making waves in the art scene. Now, she is dedicated to pursuing her passion as a full-time artist, gearing up to unveil a series of paintings celebrating black feminine excellence.
